As it turns out &#8211; they love it! \u00a0 While digging for episodes and backstory I re-discovered the role of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BBC_Radiophonic_Workshop\" target=\"_blank\">BBC Radiophonic Workshop<\/a> in the music and special effects of the series. \u00a0The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/whitefiles.org\/rws\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">engineering<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/music\/reviews\/9xn8\" target=\"_blank\">artistry<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soundonsound.com\/sos\/apr08\/articles\/radiophonic.htm\" target=\"_blank\">pioneering work<\/a> of electronic music from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop is astounding. \u00a0The more I read, the more I encountered the name and works of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.delia-derbyshire.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Delia Derbyshire<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0musician\u00a0and\u00a0composer\u00a0of\u00a0electronic music<span style=\"font-size: 11px;\">\u00a0<\/span>&amp;\u00a0musique concr\u00e8te. \u00a0Delia played a critical role in the composition and visionary audio engineering in the Radiophonic Workshop and is responsible for the arrangement and composition of the iconic Dr. Who theme.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dl.dropboxusercontent.com\/u\/2251996\/DrWho_Deconstructed.mp3\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Who Theme Deconstructed<\/a> [Mp3]<\/p>\n[audio:https:\/\/dl.dropboxusercontent.com\/u\/2251996\/DrWho_Deconstructed.mp3]\n<p>This radio documentary exploring Delia&#8217;s work was produced by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b00rl2ky\" target=\"_blank\">BBC Radio4 in 2010<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"Delia Derbyshire: Sculptress of Sound\" target=\"_blank\">Delia Derbyshire: Sculptress of Sound<\/a>\u00a0(MP3 &#8211;
