We were stopping at questioning mainstream society but we weren\u2019t questioning even our own society\u2026a few of us were\u2026and I think there\u2019s people in the punk scene who questioned the punk scene itself, which is good. But you can go even further than that and question everything you look at. It doesn\u2019t mean you end up lost\u2014you just don\u2019t accept things at face value. You keep revising your own conclusion&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.newworldlibrary.com\/client\/Products\/ProdimageLg\/15596.jpg\" alt=\"Sit Down and Shut Up\" align=\"right\" border=\"5\" height=\"373\" hspace=\"15\" width=\"245\" \/><\/p>\n<p>CBC Radio&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/tapestry\/\" title=\"CBC: Tapestry\" target=\"_blank\">Tapestry<\/a> interviewed Brad Warner 2 weeks ago (ack..<a href=\"http:\/\/www.box.net\/shared\/3nwljxf0ok\" title=\"Interview with Brad Warner\" target=\"_blank\">Real Media<\/a>) who discussed the parallels between his experience as a punk rocker and discipline as a Zen buddhist.  Much of what he spoke of reminded me of the ethos of the <a href=\"http:\/\/technorati.com\/search\/edupunk?authority=a4&amp;language=en\" title=\"Technorati: Edupunk\" target=\"_blank\">EduPunk discourse<\/a> and I quite enjoyed his perspective.  His book is great fun, insightful, and available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newworldlibrary.com\/productdetails.cfm?SKU=15596\" title=\"New World Library: Sit Down and Shut Up\" target=\"_blank\">NewWorldLibrary<\/a>.
