{"id":3609,"date":"2025-01-30T09:11:45","date_gmt":"2025-01-30T17:11:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/networkeffects.ca\/?p=3609"},"modified":"2025-04-22T05:57:49","modified_gmt":"2025-04-22T13:57:49","slug":"answering-the-call","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/networkeffects.ca\/?p=3609","title":{"rendered":"Answering The Call"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='e-content'>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wfmu.org\/Gfx\/playlist_images\/KF\/do_not_toot_7229802664546689.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Way back in May 2023 <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/networkeffects.ca\/?p=3100\" target=\"_blank\">I was inspired by conversations at #reclaimopen to spend more time with NetworkEffects<\/a> and at least make a weekly update commitment to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/kfitz.info\/practicing\/\" target=\"_blank\">practice what I preach<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With further inspiration from <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/darcynorman.net\/reflections\/\" target=\"_blank\">Darcy Norman&#8217;s Weekly Reflections<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bionicteaching.com\/category\/weekly\/\">Tom Woodward&#8217;s Weekly Web Harvests<\/a> I took a run at noting my weekly reading and rambling with my <strong>Href Weekly<\/strong> posts throughout <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/networkeffects.ca\/?cat=175\" target=\"_blank\">2023 and 2024<\/a>.  Those weekly posts are a mix of media and bits of reading &#8211; most of which I posted to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/mastodon.social\/@grantpotter\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/mastodon.social\/@grantpotter<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I managed to post fairly regularly in 2023, but had to retroactively post <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">many<\/span> 2024 bits over the last few days (<a href=\"https:\/\/discord.com\/channels\/954008116800938044\/956225407122829423\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apologies Reclaim blog-posts-rss channel!<\/a>) to answer the call of <a href=\"https:\/\/bavatuesdays.com\/bloggers-anonymous\/\">Blogger<\/a><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/bavatuesdays.com\/bloggers-anonymous\/\" target=\"_blank\">s<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/bavatuesdays.com\/bloggers-anonymous\/\"> Anonymous<\/a> and rescue my lagging commitment to NetworkEffects.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Way back in May 2023 I was inspired by conversations at #reclaimopen to spend more time with NetworkEffects and at least make a weekly update commitment to practice what I preach.
