Now that I feel like I am coming out of the woods with regards to workload and timelines for the Fall semester startup I am now digging into the ballooning open course Connectivism and Connective Knowledge being facilitated by Stephen Downes and George Siemens.  I started with the Moodle forums and simply couldn’t keep drinking from the firehose, but have found following the discourse emerging from the blog via RSS much more manageable.Seeing that I just registered networkeffects.ca with CIRA as the new domain for this blog I thought it only fitting to draw your attention to the lastest presentation in CCK08 – Valdis Krebs on Emerging Networks which addresses some of the topologies of information networks and how the rubber hits the road as human interaction is mediated by these networks.
