Last week Gabriel and Lydia expressed an interest in listening to some old 45s on my portable turntable so I thought it would be fun for them to play around with the idea of a radio show. They loved the idea so I hooked up the turntable to the laptop and rigged it to NiceCast. They both took to it quickly: Lydia adopted the persona of “The Interrupting Chicken” throughout the show and after 10 minutes they were on their own with no help from me with NiceCast operations – lots of laughs and fun.

I keep coming back to this when we’re working around the house and garden during the day. But I’ve just got the ipad thingie. Is there anway to listen on that?
Soon I’m going to get a whole computer again.
We love the idea of your radio show and find it inspiring. Maybe once we’re settled on Paul Lake we can start dj’ing some more.
