Geotagged 365 Project

Inspired by the fantastic conversations and photos emerging from the 2008 Flickr 366 Group I have resolved to contribute to the 2009 366 Group – with a twist.

Since I always have my iPhone with me, I have decided to use my phone exclusively as my 366 project camera and turn on the geolocative features so that all of my photos will be automatically geotagged. I have tried a couple apps ( Snapture, CameraPro ) but they all stripped the geodata out of the image when uploading to Flickr. Simply emailing the photo directly from my phone’s Camera Roll to my Flickr email does the trick nicely – all metadata intact.

Looking foward to seeing my items sprout on my Flickr Map
